Significant work is continuing at Kiln Field, Tenterden’s first wildlife reserve.

- A meeting has been held with Little Gate Farm Supported Employment, which provides job opportunities for those with learning difficulties, to discuss potential working arrangements.
- Wood from storm-damaged trees, fences and donated logs will be used to create ‘bug hotels’.
- New fencing is to be put up, separating Kiln Field from the adjacent Redrow housing development, to encourage the growth of wildflowers.
- Cllr Russell Parkin from the Kiln Field group is to give a talk to local schoolchildren.
