The new roundabout on the A28 Tenterden-Ashford Road is to be called Beacon Oak Roundabout.
Recently, Tenterden Town Council asked local residents to suggest a name – 52 people wrote in or emailed, while a further 21 responses came in via social media.
Beacon Oak Roundabout was the number one choice with 10 votes, while Jubilee Roundabout came second with six votes.
