Tenterden has been honoured with a prestigious Gold Award in the Villages and Towns category at the Wilder Kent Awards. The award which was announced on Saturday 20th at the University of Kent, was accepted on behalf of the town by Councillor Kayleigh Brunger-Randall (Tenterden Town Council) and Siggi Nepp.
The Wilder Kent Awards celebrate outstanding efforts of communities to protect and enhance wildlife in their local area. Tenterden's achievement of the highest award in its category is a testament of dedication to environmental stewardship and collaborative spirit.
Town Mayor, Cllr Sue Ferguson expressed her pride in the town’s achievement: "This Gold Award is a reflection of the incredible commitment and hard work of our community. Tenterden's success is a testament to what we can accomplish when we come together for a common cause."
