An independent audit of Tenterden Town Council’s finances, internal governance and operational issues has given the council a clean bill of health.
The Town Council’s Independent Internal Auditor carried out a detailed survey of the council’s £603.000 annual budget, income and expenditure and council assets, as well as items such as Code of Conduct, risk management, and council standing orders.
The auditors report, which made no new recommendations, was discussed at a meeting of the Council’s Internal committee on Monday night.
