Tenterden’s PCSO Kate Richards’ monthly report to the Town Council, discussed at Monday night’s meeting (12 July), cites instances of burglary, car crime and sheep attacks.
Her July report stated that….
- Two men from London have been remanded in custody following a burglary on in the early hours of Monday, 28 June from a fashion shop in Tenterden High Street. Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident or anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage to call 01843 222289, quoting reference number 46/111678/21.
- Among cases of car crime being investigated – the theft of a white BMW sport from St Michael’s; a black VW Amarok and a white transit van from the town; and substantial damage to a car in Grange Road.
- Dog owners are reminded to take responsibility of their pets, after a sheep-worrying incident near Tenterden, in which one lamb was badly injured. Police are seeking three men involved in the incident who had a whippet/lurcher and a terrier-type dog.
