The Covid-19 crisis has forced the postponement of two major Tenterden Town Council meetings.
Government advisory notices and social distancing rules mean that….
- The Annual Council Meeting and Mayor-Making, originally scheduled for Monday, 11 May at which the Mayor is elected and committee appointments are made, is postponed until May, 2021. Mayor Cllr. Jean Curteis will serve for another year, and committee appointments also remain the same for the next 12 months.
- The Annual Town Meeting, at which the council outlines its achievements for the past year, plans for the coming year, and takes questions from residents, was originally scheduled for Tuesday, 26 May. This will be replaced by the publication of an Annual Report in early summer.
